Geometry - Tutor Welcome to the Geometry Tutor

Most high school geometry courses follow a problem-solving model with emphasis on developing and understanding mathematical solutions to situations using geometry.  Deductive and inductive reasoning are taught in conjunction with the concepts inherent to developing an internally consistent geometry.  Primary emphasis is placed on two-dimensional Euclidean geometry.  However, three-dimensional models, theorems, and concepts are routinely included in these courses.  Essential topics include triangles, quadrilaterals, inequalities in geometry, similar polygons, right triangles, circles, constructions, and coordinate geometry.  Proofs are usually a part of the coursework.
